Marsh Civil gained third party AS/NZS ISO 14001: 2004 Environmental Management System accreditation in July 2008.

We are committed to pursuing the highest standards in environmental management in all of our operations. We strive to ensure that our operations are environmentally conscientious to both employees and the community at large. Marsh Civil are committed to the continual improvement of environmental performance and to the prevention of pollution.

Marsh Civil aims to achieve this through:

• Adopting environmental management as a key value, requiring management and staff to conduct operations in accordance with the environmental policy, procedures and instructions.
• Complying with and exceeding where possible all environmental legislation, regulations, standards, codes of practice, legal or other requirements applicable to our operations.
• Identifying all significant environmental aspects relevant to our operations and implementing an Environmental Management Plan to minimise any impacts.
• Developing environmental awareness within Marsh Civil through effective communication, training, consultation and interaction.
• Monitoring advances in environmental control, technology and regulatory trends that are relevant to our operations.
• Utilising our ISO 14001:2004 certification to ensure business processes are undertaken to repeatable best practice standards.
